Regeneration procedure

The regeneration procedure varies from sensor to sensor. Check the manufactures specifications and recommended procedures.

Never condition the pH glass electrode in distilled water or deionised water, long term exposure to pure water will damage the special glass membrane.

Tap water

However, tap water ("not pure" water) is a good reactivation solution. If a pH glass electrode should become dry, it is best to place it in some tap water for a half hour to condition the glass.
